NCL Flora Coming Soon
NCL Flora Coming Soon

Brooklyn Greenway Initiative welcomes collaboration with researchers and is open to discussing site hosting or collaboration with research, teaching and data analysis or wild flora and fauna monitoring groups and individuals.  We have been a client for graduate studio classes in green infrastructure and transformative design intervention and resilient grounds design at the Naval Cemetery Landscape and welcome work with researchers and/or students interested in sustainability, city planning, green infrastructure, ecology, botany entomology, ornithology, sociology, design or other disciplines that have creative research ideas for the native urban meadow.  The Naval Cemetery Landscape has a lot to offer and we welcome opportunities to quantify and qualify the impact the site has on community members, local biodiversity and the surrounding microclimate factors. If you have an idea or proposal please contact us at info@brooklyngreenway.org.  You can also watch this video of a recorded lunch in learn webinar with the NY Urban Field Station where BGI’s Director of Horticulture discusses aspects of the NCL and some ideas for research collaboration. https://youtu.be/PFRYCESQ5wc

NCL Flora coming soon, meanwhile please find us on Botanic Garden Conservation International’s garden search and plant search.
