The Plan

Working with community groups and public agencies, the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative (BGI) has developed a comprehensive set of planning documents, which you can download below. While these documents will guide the next stages of planning and construction, they are subject to change as the project moves forward.

Funding for the Conceptual Plan for CB2 and CB6, Conceptual Plan for CB1, Conceptual Plan for CB7, Design Guidelines, and Stewardship Plan was provided by the New York State Department of State (NYS DOS) Division of Coastal Resources with funds provided under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund.

BGI has secured over $20 million in Federal funding for construction of the Brooklyn Greenway.
